Haste The Day was originally a three piece with Brennan, Mike, and Devin. Then me and our old vocalist Jimmy Ryan joined a few months later. This all happened in 2001. That's how we formed and we played for a few years. Nothing serious and then in 2003 we started touring full time and got signed and all that.
Things exploded for you guys.
Yeah, you could say that.
What have you guys been doing since then?
We recorded a new album called When Everything Falls and we're really proud of that record. It's definitely a couple of steps up from the last one and that's what we're touring on right now. That's all we've been doing really is just touring nonstop.
Yeah, that's what the Every Time I Die guys have been doing too. How does the new record differ from the last one?
We had a lot more time to write this time. We weren't as rushed. The song structure is a lot better. A lot more mature. We knew what we were doing a lot more. We had much better production on the new one as well. A bigger recording budget and all that.
How has the tour been going so far?
Awesome. It's doing exactly what we hoped it would do. Playing for tons of new kids every night. We're getting along with all the bands really well.
How long are you guys on the tour?
We've been out for probably about six weeks. Then we have a week or two left.
So you're doing the whole run with everyone.
Yeah.
Any other thoughts or comments?
Nah.
